Ingredients

  • Onion: 1 Piece

  • Oregano : 1/2 teaspoon

  • Oil (for cooking) : 2 teaspoon

  • Chilli flakes : 1/2 teaspoon

  • Dough (for making taco shells): 150 gm

  • Sauce (of your choice)

  • Mozzarella cheese : 50 gm

  • Butter (or cooking oil, for frying) :  2 teaspoon

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion to the pan and stir until it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Meanwhile, mash two medium-sized potatoes.
  • Add chilli flakes, oregano, coriander leaves, and salt to the mashed potatoes.
  • Mix the ingredients well to ensure the flavours of coriander leaves and oregano are incorporated.
  • Roll the dough into round shapes.
  • Cook the rolled dough slightly, avoiding overcooking.
  • Spread sauce on the tortilla.
  • Add mozzarella cheese and the prepared mashed potato mixture on top.
  • Fold the dough to create a taco shape.
  • Shallow fry the taco in butter (or cooking oil) on a low flame for crispiness.
  • Flip the taco and continue cooking until it turns golden brown on both sides.
  • Additionally, roast the taco from the sides to ensure thorough cooking.
